Sub Terms

These Subscription Terms (“Sub Terms”) govern your purchase and use of paid, auto-renewable subscriptions to access premium features in the QUITTR app (“App”). By purchasing or renewing a subscription, you agree to these Sub Terms, our main Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use any paid subscription.

1. Important Disclaimers for Paid Features: Premium features (including advanced tools, insights, tracking, analytics, content, and blocking/support enhancements) are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, counseling, or professional addiction recovery services. QUITTR and its premium features are not a substitute for professional healthcare, therapy, or counseling. No doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship is created. No specific results, sobriety outcomes, habit changes, or health improvements are guaranteed. Individual results vary widely and depend on many factors beyond the App. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, therapists, counselors, or addiction specialists) for personalized advice. Seek immediate professional help in cases of crisis, severe distress, or emergency. Do not rely solely on the App or its premium features for managing addiction, mental health, or any related condition.

2. Subscription Plans & Payment Methods: QUITTR offers auto-renewable subscription plans providing access to premium features, which may include (but are not limited to): advanced recovery tools and insights, progress tracking and analytics, exclusive educational/motivational content, and enhanced content blocking/support. Plans, features, pricing, and billing periods (e.g., monthly, annual) are displayed in the App or on our website at purchase. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time without liability, provided material changes comply with applicable law and these Sub Terms.

Subscriptions are processed via:

  • Apple App Store (iOS devices) — charged to your Apple ID.

  • Google Play Store (Android devices) — charged to your Google Play account.

  • Stripe (web purchases, external checkouts, or permitted in-app/external flows) — charged to your provided payment method via Stripe. Stripe may support additional options like Apple Pay/Google Pay in some flows.

Availability of each method depends on your device, region, and applicable app store policies. You select the method at purchase.

3. Billing & Auto-Renewal: Billing varies by payment method:

  • Apple/Google: Payment is charged at purchase confirmation and for each renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends (via device settings). Renewal occurs within 24 hours before the period ends. You authorize recurring charges.

  • Stripe: Payment is charged at purchase and for each renewal per the selected interval. Auto-renewal continues until canceled. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method on file with Stripe.

Prices and taxes are as displayed at purchase/renewal. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

4. Free Trials: If a free trial is provided (via any payment method):

  • No charge applies during the trial.

  • Any unused trial portion is forfeited upon purchasing a paid subscription.

  • The subscription auto-renews (and you are charged) at the trial's end unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration (or per the method's rules).

  • Trials may be limited to new users or specific criteria.

5. Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions: Manage or cancel via the relevant platform:

  • Apple iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → QUITTR

  • Google Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

  • Stripe: Through your QUITTR account portal (accessible via app/website) or Stripe Customer Portal link provided in confirmation emails. Contact hello@quittrapp.com for assistance.

Deleting the App or account does not cancel your subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain premium access until then (cross-device if linked to your account).

6. Price Changes: We may adjust subscription prices or introduce new plans. You will receive advance notice (via App notification, email, Stripe dashboard, or as required by law/app store rules) if a price change affects your existing subscription. Changes apply only at the next renewal unless you agree otherwise. Continued use after renewal constitutes acceptance.

7. Refunds & No-Refund Policy: All subscription purchases and renewals are final and non-refundable, except as expressly required by applicable law, Apple App Store policies, Google Play policies, or Stripe's policies.

  • Apple/Google: Refunds (if any) are handled exclusively by Apple or Google — not by QUITTR. Request via reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS) or Google Play support.

  • Stripe: Refunds are at our sole discretion and subject to Stripe's terms. Requests must be made via hello@quittrapp.com or your account portal. We do not guarantee refunds for partial periods, dissatisfaction, or any other reason.

  • Deleting your account or ceasing use does not entitle you to a refund under any method.

8. Access After Cancellation or Expiration: Upon cancellation or non-renewal (any method):

  • Premium access continues until the current billing period ends.

  • Your account reverts to the free version.

  • Recovery/progress data remains accessible (unless you delete your account), but premium-only features become unavailable. We are not liable for any loss of access, data, or perceived value after expiration.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability: Premium features and subscriptions (via any payment method) are provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranties (express or implied) regarding fitness, performance, results, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or suitability for any purpose — especially health-related outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QUITTR, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and payment processors (“Protected Parties”) are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including loss of data, profits, goodwill, health outcomes, emotional distress, medical costs, or addiction-related harm) arising from subscriptions, premium features, payment processing, or these Sub Terms — even if advised of the possibility. Total liability (if any) is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD (whichever is greater). Some jurisdictions limit exclusions; in those cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

10. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Protected Parties from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of premium features or subscriptions; (b) violation of these Sub Terms; (c) reliance on the App for health/recovery decisions; (d) any content you submit/share; or (e) disputes related to payment methods or processors.

11. Changes to Sub Terms: We may update these Sub Terms. Material changes will be notified in the App, via email, or other means. Continued subscription use/renewal after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Contact: These Sub Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States without regard to conflict of laws. For subscription questions (including Stripe), contact: support@quittrapp.com.
